This week, the agricultural group Sete Povos validated a project that we developed in partnership with our friend Bruno Silva.

Like the larger capacity agricultural aircraft, the Air Tractor 502XP, due to its power, requires greater care for low volume applications. The high speed generates a very fine droplet spectrum, requiring special equipment for this type of work.

In an Aircraft Clinic carried out by the agronomist José Luis, we certified a new Zanoni atomizer specific for the 502XP. The evaluation, carried out with a flow rate of 10 L/ha (1 GPA), indicated safety and quality in the application.

In addition to presenting a low drift potential (with a DV01 close to 100 microns), the research indicated a high droplet density (with values well above the minimum required for all types of product) and excellent coverage (with results similar to that of found with flow rates much higher than 1 GPA - 10 L/ha).

Thus, the application proved to be ideal for both contact products and systemic products, ensuring the greatest possible effectiveness for treatments with insecticides and fungicides by air.
